  1. Start Title with Keyword

Your title must start with the keyword. It will show the importance of the keyword to the search engines.

Also, make sure that your title is within H1 tag. As it has been dedicated for the title. Some even go further to call it title tag.

Only writing keywords on the title isn’t enough. You need to add attractive attention-grabbing keywords to your article. Your title is going to be treated as a headline by the search engine users. No one clicks on a boring headline.

When you do a search on Google you see some description under the heading. These are called meta descriptions.

While writing a meta description for your web pages make sure to include keywords. Also, make the meta descriptions great so that people understand what your web page is about. It will increase your click-through rate.

If your meta description seems boring after users do Google searches then they are never going to click on your website. Write it tactfully enough to relieve the users. So they think that your web page can solve their problem.

Don’t only create text content for your website. It looks boring and somewhat scary.

You need to spice things up with attractive images and videos. It will increase the time people spend on your website. Google notices these factors then ranks the pages high where people spend the most time

Alt tags and descriptions help search engines understand your image. You should write what the image is about in the description and alt tag. But try to include keywords within them. It will help you get more traffic from Google Image Search.

H2 tags are the subheading of your content. You can separate the parts of your content with the H2 tag.

Don’t be reluctant to use other headings like H3 or H4. But make sure that these are relevant and follow a proper hierarchy. Also if possible try to include some related keywords within the headings only where it is relevant.

  1. Long Form Content

Write long form content for your website. Because short content doesn’t rank high these days. But keep in mind that your content has to be relevant.

You can’t just make it longer for the sake of making it long. It might even have indirect negative effects on your web page ranking on the search engine.

  1. Use LSI Keywords

You need to use latent semantically related keywords all throughout your content. It will help search engines to understand your content better.
